Registered Nurse (Night Duty)
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our contemporary and motivated Night duty team (while the present incumbent is on parental leave).
Fullarton Lutheran Homes is looking for a Registered Nurse with at least 2 years experience working within an Aged Care environment.
You will lead a team (including a 2nd Registered Nurse) that takes great pride in caring for Residents that may have complex and changing needs as the Registered Nurse - in - Charge (RNIC).
One shift will be working as the 2nd Registered Nurse on night duty in the Dementia Unit.
Shifts available for the successful applicant will be:
Week 1
- Monday 2245 - 0715 RNIC
Week 2
-Tuesday 2300 - 0715 2nd RN
-Wednesday 2245 - 0715 RNIC
-Thursday 2245 - 0715 RNIC
-Monday 2245 - 0715 RNIC
Additional relieving shifts across the Home as a RN may also be available.
The Night duty RN will need to assess needs, implement plans, provide handovers, evaluate care and document outcomes to ensure timely and accurate documentation.
You will need to have a:
-Current AHPRA registration
-Excellent communication and clinical documentation skills
-Excellent time management and organisational skills
-The ability to effectively lead a team
-Current Police clearance suitable for Aged Care
Salary packaging is available to the successful applicant.
