We are looking for a self-driven physio with experience and passion for neuro rehab to start in a community position. There are various localities available across Sydney.
The neurological and complex therapy case load is challenging and would suit someone looking to stretch themselves. The majority of our clients are Stroke/ABI, MS, PD, MND, SCI and other progressive conditions.
You would be involved in delivering many of our signature programs in the community.
- Upper Limb Boot Camp for post stroke
- Stand. Walk. Run for Stroke and ABI
- PD Warrior
- MS Get a Head Start
Working in the community environment really highlights the importance of therapy in enhancing someone's life. We see clients immediately on discharge from inpatient rehabilitation, from both Neurologists and Rehab Specialists and through referrals from other health professionals. We see clients who privately fund, receive funding through the NDIS and My Aged Care, Life Time Care and Support and other third parties.
As part of the physio team, you would work closely together with:
- Occupational Therapy
- Exercise Physiology
- Neuromuscular Orthotist
You would get access to one of the best internal support and training programs in private practice and are looking for someone with essential skills in neuro rehab but who is coachable and eager to develop their skills further.

The Team
You will join the physio team as part of a comprehensive 39 member, multidisciplinary service including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, neuro-muscular orthotics and exercise physiology. Don't worryabout our size though! We are family owned and operated and no-one is a number here!
Essential and Desirable Skills
Minimum of two years neurological physiotherapy experience is desired, as is own car, AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance. This position is available to start ASAP July 2018.
About Advance Rehab Centre
We are a team of allied health therapists known for providing leading neurological and complex rehabilitation in Sydney. Our mobile service covers all of metro Sydney and our centre is based conveniently in St Leonards.
Our immediate geographical area for our community role is The Hills area and NW Sydney and also the Eastern Suburbs and Western Suburbs.
