About the business
Villaggio Sant' Antonio accommodates 83 residents, including a dementia specific and day-care/respite unit. There is an additional 60 self care villas with community care provided when needed.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our team, by being responsible for the facilitation of the daily activity programmes. This role is important for the wellbeing and health of our residents through activities that are stimulating, creative and enjoyable. We are looking for someone who can promote the physical and emotional wellbeing of our residents through lifestyle activities.

Skills and experience
You will need to have:
- Prior experience in Leisure and Lifestyle – facilitating, evaluating and creating activity programs
- Prior experience & understanding of the Aged Care Industry
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle
- A passionate, organised and person centred personality which allows you to make a difference to the day-to-day lives of our residents
- An ability to understand the individual needs of residents so their interests can be supported allowing them to improve their long term health
- Able to effectively work in a changing work environment with varying tasks, responsibilities and priorities required to carry out day to day lifestyle activities
- Excellent and effective communication skills that can be tailored to the different cultural and individual needs of each resident
- Teamwork/relationships – work effectively with others to facilitate the achievement of organisation and team goals
- Strong planning and organising
- Empathy and understanding of the needs of the aged
