About the Position

The Recovery Mental Health Clinician will work within the newly commissioned Complex Mental Health Services Team for people living with serious and enduring mental health issues.  The team will provide Mental Health services focused on developing skills in the areas of recovery and self-management.  The Recovery Mental Health Clinician will working in partnership with consumers, families and carers, GPs and Mental Health Peer Workers to deliver high quality and holistic services.

The successful applicant will be experienced in working with people with enduring mental health issues and complex needs. The Recovery Mental Health Clinician will have a contemporary attitude and commitment to mental health recovery and will be prepared to work within a broader service teams providing GPH’s health and mental health services across south eastern NSW.

The successful applicant will be an AHPRA registered Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Psychologist or will be an AASW Credentialed Mental Health Social Worker. Mental Health Nurses will either be credentialed with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses or willing to work towards the same.

Part-time positions are available in the following locations across South Eastern NSW: Moruya,Bega & Wollongong.
