About the Role
Thompson Health Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a permanent part- time/ full-time position - available to work on Monday, Thursday and Friday with shifts between 7-5:30 pm is highly preferred. The successful candidate will work alongside our Director of Nursing and Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide quality care for 20 residents.
Milford House Nursing Home is a boutique Home which has 45 beds and is led by Director of Nursing, Suzanne Hobart along with her dedicated and supportive nursing team.
Duties
- Ensure the highest clinical and resident care to meet the resident’s individual needs and enhance quality of life
- Ensure resident care and treatment is documented to meet regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with residents, medical practitioners, allied health professionals and relatives
- Provide leadership and supervision of other nursing staff
Skills & Experience:
- Current registration with AHPRA and preferably 2 years or more experience in an aged care setting
- Have sound knowledge of ACFI documentation or willing to learn
- Confident and experienced in supervision of other nursing staff
- Skilled communicator and ability to build rapport with others
- Strive for excellence in customer service and promote an environment of harmony and trust
