Our well established dental practice in Northern NSW is seeking an all rounder who can manage reception duties and is an experienced dental assistant, to join our fast paced, three chair practice. Our new team member must have excellent communication skills, be reliable, and has a minimum of 2 years experience working in a dental practice.

The practice offers a comprehensive range of services. As a valued team member, you will be providing a high level of customer service and patient care. We are seeking an outgoing, enthusiastic team player who enjoys working in the dental industry.

The position is full time, for an immediate start. 

Essential requirements:

• High level of dental knowledge.
• Highly motivated team member.
• Understanding & knowledge of infection control.
• Minimum 2 year of chair-side experience
• Great telephone manner.
• Basic laboratory skills 

The successful applicant will bring to the practice the following attributes:

• An ability to work well within a team environment.
• A compassionate and caring attitude.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Dental 4 Windows experience is an advantage.
• Holds a current licence and has reliable transport.
• Certificate III in Dental Assisting an advantage

Duties include:

• Reception duties
• Processing Hicaps and electronic claims
• Chair-side assisting & instrument handling  
• Sterilisation processing
• Following infection control protocols
• Tracking instruments
• Charting
