About the role
As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for helping to deliver superior care to the patients of our practice. The responsibilities include:
- Engaging with our customers to keep them calm and happy about their journey to a better smile and oral health.
- Setting-up the room and preparing the tools and equipment before patients enters the room.
- Looking after the patients while in chair, ensuring they are comfortable
- Assisting the dentists with general dental procedures
- Sterilisation of equipment pre and post use
Occasionally, you might also be required to assist our front Office coordinator with:
- Schedule patient bookings
- Providing Customer Service and liasing with patients over phone/email
- Processing customer payments and helping our patients select the best payment plan for their budget

Skills needed:
- Certificate 3 in Dental Assisting
- Experience as a Dental Assistant
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently whilst providing excellent customer service.
- Being a supportive team member as well as being accountable for individual tasks
- Initiative, drive and willingness to "go the extra mile"
- Reliability, punctuality and flexibility
- Organised, tidy, clean and well presented
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
