About the role
This position will be part of a multidisciplinary team to support families with children 0 to 6 years old who are exploring their eligibility for NDIS funding.
You are responsible for screening and assessing children with a developmental delay and/or disability to determine their eligibility for NDIS funding. You will develop and review plans for participants in the scheme and provide short term interventions to build the capacity of families to support their child's development where they have been deemed ineligible for NDIS funding.
Responsibilities also include preparation, submission and (where agreed) facilitation of the implementation and ongoing review of NDIS plans.
Skills and experience
- Registered with AHPRA
- Experience working within early childhood or disability sector
- Understand the best principles of early childhood interventions
- Experience in service delivery
- Understanding of the NDIS
