We are revolutionising health care in the bush so that rural communities no longer need to be envious of the services provided in larger, metropolitan centres. We have many diverse programs and services that are continually evolving, which allow us to ensure we add value to the health of ALL community members regardless of age, health or disease status.   • Previous experience as an AEP is desirable, however new graduates are encouraged to apply and will be considered.

You must have the following (or be able to get them ASAP):

  • Relevant degree/s qualification/s and ESSA Accreditation as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP).
  • Current First Aid, CPR certificate, police check and a working with children clearance.
  • Full drivers licence and a reliable vehicle is a MUST!
  • Medicare provider number, WorkCover NSW provider number, NDIS registered provider, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver dynamic patient-centred services to patients with a range of co-morbidities including but not limited to: musculoskeletal, cardiac, metabolic, neurological and respiratory, initially at three (3) locations.
  • Frequently be required to work independently and use your clinical skills to solve complex problems.
  • Be able to make pivotal decisions with a team mindset in the best interests of your patients and the brand.
  • Be involved in delivering a variety of group based services, both clinical and non-clinical.
  • Maintain and develop professional relationships with GPs, allied health professionals and community groups.
  • Be required to communicate effectively with clients, referrers, team members and other stakeholders
  • Complete general administration including: reporting, booking clients, taking payments, meetings, etc.

You MUST be absolutely passionate about movement based therapy as a mainstay of treatment for virtually any clinically condition or disease. You WANT to be known as the “go to” person for all things exercise in your community. You are passionate about improving the health of the community you live in and successful results inspire you.
