The Opportunity
An exciting career opportunity has become available in our Products leadership team in the position of Business Manager- NSW, WA, ACT, NZ.
Reporting to the General Manager- Products Division, the Business Manager will take full responsibility of our capital equipment business in the assigned region. This includes sales performance, commercial business management, execution of sales and marketing strategies and customer satisfaction. A small team of Clinical Specialists and/or Account Managers in each state report directly to this position.
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 7 years of commercial sales management experience
- Excellent negotiation skills within a business environment of contract and tender
- Sound knowledge of financial management and budgeting processes
- Considerable knowledge of ANZ healthcare purchasing systems
- Expert understanding of business development, sales & marketing, regulatory and quality requirements within the medical devices market
- Business acumen with demonstrated ability to make strategic decisions and choices
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant healthcare networks including government and non-government sectors
- Experience working with all levels of staff across the organisational hierarchy in a matrix organisation
A significant amount of travel is required for this position, both interstate and overseas. An acceptable Police Clearance certificate is required for this position.
