The organisation:

Medium sized aged care provider with homes in the Melbourne metropolitan area.  The organisation has a reputation for providing its residents with high quality person centered care in a warm and welcoming homelike environment.  With an innovative and thought out strategic plan for future development, the organisation has seen major growth over the last few years and is now needing to expand their Admissions team to allow for more effective and efficient customer focussed service. 

The role:

 The Regional Clients Services Coordinator/Admissions Coordinator will work across 4 homes (220 beds approx) in the Northern and Eastern suburbs  of Melbourne,  with the specific purpose of maximizing bed occupancy.  You will be responsible for assisting facility managers with organizing events, campaigns and liaising with the local community bodies, hospital, councils etc. and will develop communication lines for families who are considering aged care placements..

Key Selection Criteria and requirements:

  • Atleast 2 years Admissions, Sales and Marketing experience within the Aged Care Industry 
  • Sound working knowledge of  relevant legislative requirements pertaining to the Aged Care Act.
  • Thorough understanding of Fees and Charges and funding arrangements (ACFI), accreditation, and client assessments processes (ACAS)
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focussed attitude.
  • Victorian / Relevant State drivers’ license.
  • Clear National Police Record Check
