oapl is looking for a Senior Account Manager in NSW to oversee our growing distribution of allied health products.

The Company:

oapl and their joint ventures around Australia were acquired by OPED AG on October 31st, 2017. The new oapl group has a national footprint with clinical operations in New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia and Victoria, making us the largest prosthetic and orthotic service provider in the country! Our distribution operation remains in Rowville, Victoria with our comprehensive range of upper and lower limb orthotics devices strengthened by the addition of the OPED range. We continue provide services to all allied health markets including the P&O/Physio/Podiatry and Compression markets through both our distribution and manufactured products.

The Role:

  • Strategic account management of key public and private health care accounts across the allied and hospital networks in NSW including current pricing agreements with several national private health care groups
  • Managing and monitoring the tender process across all portfolios
  • Looking to cross and up-sell to existing customers and identify new business opportunities within NSW
  • Analytical analysis of market share, trends, patterns, sales reporting, forecasting etc
  • Managing your customer base and building relationships through strong interpersonal skills
  • Introducing new product offerings to existing customers and prospect / cold call / network to obtain new business
  • Willingness to work independently but also be part of a larger national sales team and be an integral motivated part of this collective

    The Candidate:

    Ideally, you will have had 4-5 years prior sales and service experience in the Healthcare sector, preferably with a solid understanding of the hospital and allied health market, with a track record of exceeding sales targets across a wide range of products.  

    The right candidate will also be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrated previous performance of maintaining and exceeding sales targets across a wide range of products, KPI’s etc;
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude & desire for building strong professional relationships.
  • A demonstrated customer focus with a “hands on” approach willing to problem solve, whilst providing quality and valued service.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs with particular competency in MS Excel.
  • Willingness for frequent territory travel with occasional overnight stay requirements (2-4 nights per month)
