Position Profile
Peel Health Campus is looking to employ Resident Medical Officers and Registrars to join the JMO workforce covering terms in both Emergency and General Medicine, to ensure that quality, evidence based medical care is delivered within a safe team environment that is conducive to learning.
Essential Criteria
Current relevant registration or eligibility for registration as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Authority (Medical Board)
Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or Doctor of Medicine (MD)
Minimum two years’ experience as a Medical Officer (minimum one year if trained in Australia)
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) if not trained in Australia or a competent pathway country (under AHPRA definition)
Desirable Criteria
Current AHPRA registration
- Experience and knowledge of the Australian healthcare system
Salary Details
Resident Medical Officers: $129,674 per annum
Registrars: $151,285 - $237,884 per annum (depending on experience)
