About this Role: This role will be integral component of a capacity building pilot across the Hastings and Kempsey area that improves access and quality of early intervention drug, alcohol and mental health treatment services for young people aged 12-16 years. The mental health clinician will work with young people who are at risk of being suspended from school as a result of their problematic AOD use.

  • Part Time Position – 30 hours per week over 4 days
  • Two Positions Available
  • Fixed term role to 30 June 2019 (potential for ongoing role, dependent on funding)

Due to new business contracts, an exciting opportunity exists for two experienced counsellors to join our team. This role will be an integral component of a capacity building 4C’s (Counselling, Consultancy & Continuing Care) pilot across the Hastings and Kempsey area that improves access and quality of early intervention drug, alcohol and mental health treatment services for young people aged 12-16 years. The Mental Health clinicians will work as part of a team with young people who are at risk of suspension from school as a result of their problematic AOD use.

The role will operate across both Port Macquarie and Kempsey. You are a dynamic, passionate and highly motivated individual with a relevant qualification who wants to make a difference.
