Graduate Nurse Position - PARKVILLE
12 Month Program
32 hours per week in all all areas other than Perioperative Services and Day Surgery Unit where hours are 38 hours per week.

Our Graduate Nurse program provides Graduate Registered Nurses with endless opportunities to learn and consolidate in:
- Gynaecology & Women's Cancer Services: 5 North (0.8 EFT)
- Neonates (0.8 EFT) including Special Care Nursery and High Dependency Nursery
- Perioperative Suites includes Theatre, Anaesthetics, Post Anaesthetic Care Units & Day Surgery Unit (Full time)
Placements are for 12 months in one area or a combination of 6 months in one area and 6 months in another.
We offer a February and May intake and you must be eligible for Computer Match to apply. Applications are now open for both intakes of the 2019 program. - Cover letter addressed to Kate O'Donnell (one page)
- CV including a clear scanned photo of yourself
- Certified copy of transcript of results or interim results
- 2 x most recent clinical appraisals (one must be acute)
- Completed Placement Options Preference Form (found using the following link https://www.thewomens.org.au/health-professionals/clinical-education-training/nursing-midwifery-edtraining/graduate-nurse-program/graduate-nurse-applications#a_downloads
- Arrange for 2 clinical referees to download the Graduate Midwifery / Nursing Program Clinical Reference Check Form using the following link:
Request that the referee complete the form and submit it via email to Clinical Education at [email protected] by Friday the 20th of July 2018.
No mailed or faxed applications or reference check forms will be accepted.
