Combined Graduate Midwife/Nurse Position - Parkville & Sandringham

12 month program - 3 months Nursing and 9 months Maternity Services

32 hours per week

Our Combined Graduate Program provides Graduate Registered Nurses / Midwives with endless opportunities to learn and consolidate in Postnatal, Birth Centre, Antenatal Clinic, Complex Antenatal Care and Pregnancy Day Care Unit over a 9 month period at both Parkville and Sandringham campuses.

This program also includes a 3 month rotation into a nursing area in either NICU, Women's Emergency Care, or Gynaecology & Women's Cancer.

The following documents will need to be submitted via your online application:

• Cover letter addressed to Stacey Gilbert of Kate O'Donnell (one page)
• CV including a clear scanned photo of yourself
• Certified copy of transcript of results or interim results
• 2 x most recent clinical appraisals. One must be acute, and can be either nursing or midwifery
• Completed placement preference form (found here: https://www.thewomens.org.au/health-professionals/clinical-education-training/nursing-midwifery-edtraining/graduate-nurse-and-graduate-midwife-program/graduate-nurse-and-graduate-midwife-applications) 
• Arrange for 2 clinical referees to download the Graduate Midwifery / Nursing Program Clinical Reference Check Form: https://www.thewomens.org.au/health-professionals/clinical-education-training/nursing-midwifery-edtraining/postgraduate-midwifery-program/postgraduate-midwife-applications/#a_downloads
• Request that the referee complete the form and submit it via email to Clinical Education at [email protected] by Friday 20th July 2018. 

No mailed or faxed applications or reference check forms will be accepted.
