The client is a leading provider of Aged Care services in Australia. They have multiple residential facilities across Canberra for residents with high care needs, allowing them to live in a safe and friendly community where all their care requirements can be attended to.
Your role will provide a high standard of flexible and responsive clinical care to our residents, clinical involvement in the provision of general podiatry services and participating in wound management for clients as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments that identify the clients' foot and lower limb disorders
- Enhance the quality of life and independence of our clients by delivering evidenced based podiatry interventions
- Regularly review and evaluate client therapy plans
- Maintain current knowledge of contemporary podiatry techniques and healthcare issues
- Practice effective infection control practices and procedures
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- 1-2 years' Health or Aged/Community Care experience
- Current unrestricted drivers licence
- Registration with AHPRA
