SPEECH PATHOLOGIST – Permanent P/T (with a view to F/T): Negotiable pay depending on level of experience
Signs and Sounds - Marrickville, Sydney
Thursday afternoons, all day on Fridays and Saturday mornings
Potentially 16-17 hours in total per week
Our clinic provides therapy services for toddlers, children, young people and families in the Marrickville and surrounding Inner West area. We also provide early intervention and consultative services to children's care and educational organisations within this geographical area.

Key responsibilities:
- Use relevant, evidence based information and tools to identify and treat communication, learning and social disorders for children aged 12 months to 17 years
- Develop appropriate and individualised client management plans for the purpose of managing identified communication, learning and social disorders in children aged 12 months to 17 years
- Collaborate with a variety of groups and individuals for the purpose of communicating information, resolving issues and providing a high level of client services
- Prepare a wide variety of written materials, including reports and letters, which comply with the practice's policies and procedures for record keeping, for the purpose of documenting activities and conveying clinical information to families and other professionals
- Comply with legal and ethical requirements, professional requirements, evidence-based practice and all policies and procedures of both the practice and Speech Pathology Australia

- Eligibility for current practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia
- Proven commitment to continuing professional development activities and evidence-based practice
- Demonstrated high-level of organisational and time-management skills and a high level of attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people through both verbal and written modes
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
