Double Bay Day Hospital is a facility located in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. The Hospital is privately operated with 3 Theatres, Recovery Room and Discharge Lounge. The Hospital performs a range of elective surgery and endoscopy procedures and delivers uncompromising care to our patients.
About the Position
We are seeking experienced Full Time/ Part time / Casual CSSD / Endoscopy Reprocessing Technician to fill several roles for our Day Hospital. There is an opportunity for advancement to team leader for the right candidate.
Essential Criteria
- Recent relevant experience in the area of speciality (CSD / Endoscopy reprocessing)
- must have a CSD Certificate III in Sterilisation Services
- Documented training in the area of CSD and/or Endoscope Reprocessing
- Flexibility in available work hours - Monday to Saturday – AM & PM shifts
- Excellent communication, time management and customer service skills and proven ability to work effectively as a member
- Committed to creating a positive work culture and providing a 'can do' approach to tasks
- Commitment to quality improvement and excellence in the delivery of healthcare services
- Must provide current Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Must provide proof of current health vaccinations,
- Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency
- Commitment to continued professional development
- Competence in clinical IT systems for health information management
