About the role

As the Key Account Manager, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring that our mobile dental company's operations are proceeding smoothly. This will involve drafting and executing plans, assigning work to various staff members, organising workflow, and coordinating staff meetings. As a strong leader, you will be responsible for the organisation of this group, including recommending changes or improvements as needed. This role will ensure that all expenses are within the operating budget, and they may be required to draft and present reports to executives as necessary. Travel interstate will be required from time to time.

You will work closely with the employees in the business unit, along with the leadership team and report to the Senior Business Manager.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage business and financial affairs related to the administration of the business unit.
  • Drive business functions and ensures employee efforts support organisational goals and objectives.
  • Provide overall management of financial operations, practice growth, marketing and administration.
  • Direct the talent and resources within the business unit to advance strategic business goals.
  • Responsible for the decision-making for the business unit, such as choices related to changes needed to adapt to external and internal factors that impact business operations.
  • Develop business goals, and design strategies and organise business resources to advance those goals.
  • Maintain a positive and supportive culture

Skills and experience

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Analytical and financial acumen
  • Strong problem solving and decision- making skills
  • Medical/Health sector experience highly regarded
  • Strong marketing initiatives
  • Diploma or tertiary qualifications in business management essential
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role 
  • Driven and hard working with a pro-active approach
