The Heritage of Hunters Hill is an exclusive development catering for retirement living for the over 55s. Set in leafy surrounds, the Heritage offers luxurious self-care apartments, set in a relaxed community, making for a retirement in luxury.

The Village Assistant is responsible for ensuring the village amenities are cleaned and maintained to a high standard at all times, providing customer service under the instruction of the Village Manager. You will also be required to provide a cleaning service to our residents in maintaining their apartments and assist them with simple maintenance requests such as changing light globes. An important requirement of the role will be undertaking proactive maintenance as directed, e.g. vacuuming common areas and high pressure hose cleaning.

You will also be provided the opportunity to cross-train in administration function and gain a First Aid Certificate. Sleepover shifts will be available with sleepover allowance provided.

  • Basic Computer skills?
  • Track record of being reliable?
  • Good verbal & written communication skills?
  • Familiarity with Work Health and Safety procedures?

Desirable

  • Experienced in working in Aged Care/acting in Carer position 
  • Demonstrated cleaning experience?
  • Senior First Aid certificate or commitment to attain one
