Clinical Psychologist(s) / Registrars sought to join a busy and expanding clinical psychology practice located in Fremantle.
Fremantle Clinical Psychology and Counselling is a Clinical Psychology practice located within the Ellen Health Medical Centre Building and within Fremantle Psychiatry, both in central Fremantle. We have established referral relationships with local GPs and Psychiatrists, and a strong web presence. Our clinicians provide effective, evidence-based psychological services to individuals, couples and families.
We welcome applications from Clinical Psychologists / Clinical Psychologist Registrars with interest and experience in providing private clinical services for adults, young adults, adolescents and/or children. You would be required to provide services for a negotiated clinical caseload, appropriately maintain client records, and provide timely correspondence to our referral sources.
The successful applicant/s would be required to work 1- 2+ days per week as preferred, commencing in July/August 2018. As the Medical Centre and Fremantle Psychiatry are open 7 days per week, we offer flexible working hours to suit clinicians wanting to work week days, evenings or weekends.
Currently, we are particularly keen to recruit Psychologists who will also be able to provide some after hours appointments in the evenings or Saturdays.
This position would suit experienced therapists who are able to work with a broad range of presentations and wanting to commence and/or develop their private practice with the support and security of working in an established, peer-supported environment.
Essential Selection Criteria:
- Registration as a Clinical Psychologist / Registrar with the Psychology Board of Australia
- Eligibility to apply for registration as a Clinical Psychologist / Registrar with the Psychology Board of Australia
- Eligibility for Provider registration with Medicare Australia
- Sufficient Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
- Appropriate Clinical Experience
- Commitment to excellence in professional practice
- Capacity to work effectively autonomously and within a team
- Two Professional References
