SmallTalk Speech & Language Therapy is a private practice in Hornsby, providing services to children with a variety of communication difficulties from birth through to adolescence. Intervention is primarily clinic based but we also provide services within the local community.
Your Role:
This position is to cover a maternity leave for a minimum of 11 months, but this could extend up to 16 months. The role being offered is 1-2 days as a contractor (paid on a commission basis) with scope to extend to a third day over the coming months if desired. Mentoring and support will be available throughout the duration of the role, with a handover period in the first week of September.
Selection criteria:
- Qualification in Speech Pathology
- Current Speech Pathology Australia membership (or will become a member if you're the successful candidate)
- Drivers licence, own vehicle and insurance
- Professional indemnity insurance (or will get insurance if you're the successful candidate)
- Current working with children check
- Demonstrated experience in assessing and providing therapy for children with a variety of communication disorders, including children with autism, and working with their families.
- Fun, personable, outgoing personality with a motivation to deliver a quality service
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrated time management and organization skills.
