Shire of Donnybrook-Balingup
We are seeking a casual or part time physiotherapist with current AHPRA registration, to contribute to clinical care for frail aged residents in our 40 bed home.
You will work with a multidisciplinary team and have responsibilities for assessing, treating, and documenting the mobility support, rehabilitation and pain management needs for residents. This may include prescribing and overseeing individual and group treatments implemented by care staff and allied health assistants.
You must be empathetic of our ageing residents, be proficient in English, verbal and written communication, demonstrated teamwork and basic computer skills on a Windows platform. We will train you in our CRMS and site-specific practices. You will be largely responsible for your own schedule therefore must have excellent time management skills to keep up with the busy workload and respond to changing priorities.
The position is best suited to a local independent contractor, however there is scope for a casual employment contract through the Shire of Donnybrook Balingup.
Features:
- Part-time up to 15hrs per week, 6 month contract, with possibility to extend.

Essential:
- BSc Physiotherapy and AHPRA registration
- Travel to work onsite in Donnybrook
Desirable:
- Independent contractor with own ABN
- Experience working in residential aged care
- Manual handling and Pain management competencies
