Sugarman Medical are recruiting for an experienced Theatre Nurse to join a Private Hospital in Melbourne as a Theatre Coordinator.

You will need to be highly organised, an excellent communicator and a passionate Theatre Nurse.

Job Duties include;

• Ensuring safety measures and quality standards are met.
• Support and liaise with the Nurse Unit Manager of the Perioperative department and wards
• Correspond and support with the Nursing unit manager of the Perioperative teams
• Ensure all theatres are operating on budget and staffed correctly.
• Understanding of legislative requirements, ACORN and sterilization standards
• Knowledge of accreditation processes and Quality / Risk management

Essential Criteria:

• Registered Nurse - current registration with AHPRA
• Current or recent experience as Perioperative ANUM or above
• Leadership skills.
• Sound clinical knowledge reflective of best practice
• Experience in similar position advantageous
• Excellent Communication and Customer Services skills
• Highly organised and strong ability to prioritise tasks
