Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist
$170,000 - $200,000 plus package depending on experience

We are currently arranging interviews for a suitably qualified Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Specialist at a large teaching hospital on the Gold Coast. This health service has an annual operating budget of over $1 billion and provides care for a population of approximately 500,000. The hospital sees around 4,500 births a year, making it one of the largest maternity services in the Australia. As an MFM specialist in this hospital, you will have access to the latest state-of-the-art ultrasound, diagnostic imaging and testing. The hospital is accredited for MFM sub-specialty training, giving you an opportunity to be involved in teaching at all levels.
Only an hour from the heart of Brisbane, the Gold Coast has a lot to offer. Largely known as a tourist city, it has been made famous by its surf beaches, theme parks and surrounding rainforests. With over 70km of beaches to explore (including the famous Surfers Paradise), you will never get bored in this city. The Gold Coast is the 2nd largest city in Queensland (after Brisbane) so can offer the best of both worlds - a metropolitan city with easy access to beaches and forest to get away from the buzz of the city and relax after work.
Ideally you will have a sub-specialisation qualification in Maternal Fetal Medicine. Candidates with FRANZCOG (or equivalent) with a special interest in MFM will also considered.
