OPPORTUNITY FOR EXPERIENCED GENERAL PRACTICE NURSE

Part time/Casual Registered Nurse required at Kooringal Medical Centre.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Practice Nurse to join our nursing team in this well established General Practice clinic.
The practice is fully accredited with well-fitted treatment room facilities having been renovated and expanded recently.
Part time/ Casual hours available - We can be flexible to your needs.
Applicants should ideally have a minimum 3 years GP clinic experience and be able to drive the nursing standards and processes with the following skills:-
- Have a pleasant, easy going and professional manner
- Be able to perform all general practice nurse duties such as immunisaton, procedure assistance, wound dressings, stock ordering etc
- Be computer literate and able to coordinate and manage recall and reminder systems, Maintain E health records, assist in achieving PIP Diabetes and Asthma cylces of care.
- Experience with preparation of all types of Care plans and Health Assessments
- Coordinate education sessions for patients.
- Be familiar with the Accreditation Process and required Standards
- Ability to communicate well with patients and colleagues
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite - Excel, Word, Pracsoft and Best Practice is an advantage.
