THE FACILITY & THE ORGANISATION 
Small Aged Care facility conveniently located close to the beach, local shopping and a train station. The organisation is a Nationwide provider who have homes across Australia. They are recognised for the high standard of training they provide as they have unique training programs tailored to you.


THE ROLE
As the Clinical Manager you will be responsible for the full clinical oversight of the facility, reporting directly to the Facility Manager. You will also be responsible for:

• All clinical reporting and documentation
• Recruitment and training of staff
• Provision of ongoing management and support 
• Assess care assessments and plans to ensure precise funding is achieved
• Educating, mentoring and training staff members
• Plan, develop and facilitate accreditation readiness
• Develop strong bonds with the residents and their families to ensure they are receiving excellent customer service

 
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Qualified Registered Nurse with current AHPRA Registration
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Care Manager / Deputy Director of Nursing within Aged Care
• A hands on approach to your role with a focus on customer service and leadership
• Capability and experience in leading a team
• Extensive experience with ACFI
• Extensive knowledge of the aged care standards and accreditation
• Strong communication skills; verbal and written
• Current police check and working rights
