Career defining opportunity to spearhead a boutique NFP Residential Aged Care organisation in country NSW. We need a dynamic business leader with drive and passion to guide the organisation and oversee a major capital works project.
  
We are partnered exclusively with a Community-owned Not for Profit Aged Care organisation located in Central tablelands of NSW. The town lies a mere 2-3 hour drive from Sydney and is surrounded by a stunning backdrop of beautiful national parks and World Heritage sites. There are fantastic local amenities including excellent local schools, hospitals and sports clubs. There is a wonderful climate with warm summers, cool winters and beautiful spring and autumn seasons. 
  
The Chief Executive role will suit a strategic thinker who can assist the organisation in moving to the next level.  This pivotal position will oversee the most exciting chapter in the company's history, with a large expansion project and significant plans to rapidly grow the services offered to the local community.  
  
The CEO will be responsible for the ongoing, successful management of the organisation in accordance with the strategies, policies, mission and values approved by the Board. The breadth of this role requires a high level of business acumen including strong financial management, leadership skills and the ability to delegate responsibilities to others ensuring the optimal level of care is provided to residents. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Health or Aged Care and be competent in all aspects of management. Knowledge of ACFI, the Aged Care Act, WHS, accreditation and continuous quality improvement systems along with a passion for aged care.
  
About you: Key skills that we're be looking for are.

• Strong business and financial skills, with Tertiary qualifications in Management, Finance, Business, or equivalent.
• A team-oriented person with strong interpersonal skills, able to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• A strong understanding of compliance and quality improvement processes in Aged Care with a technical understanding of the Australian Aged Care Accreditation standards.
• Experienced, passionate leadership skills with the capacity to coach and mentor staff.
• Strong, well-developed written and verbal communication skills
• Sound abilities to problem solve, show initiative and demonstrate accountability
• A passion for customer service and delivering excellence in care for older people and their families
• A strong understanding of marketing with excellent networking skills. 
• Commissioning, capital works experience would be highly regarded.
• Current registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse (desirable)
