We are looking for a dynamic hard working and passionate Retail Manager with pharmacy experience to join our great team.
As the Retail Manager you will be responsible for driving high levels of customer service on the shop floor and motivating the team. You must be energetic, motivated and have a keen eye for detail this role is for you.
- Provide support and assistance to Senior Team Members and staff within the Pharmacy, to ensure outstanding customer service
- Continuously drive for increasing sales, through 'add-on' sales, and by providing input and ideas on how to continuously build sales
- Support catalogue and supplier promotions by planning, organizing and implementing promotional activities to maximize sales
- Ensure all stock is visually merchandised in a disciplined, customer friendly, clean and tidy manner according to the Pharmacy's merchandising standards
- Delegate tasks to team Members to ensure all systems are in place and customer service is at a high level
- Accountable for rostering the team and ensuring you maintain your allocated wage budget per month
- Implement policies and procedures to ensure adequate team management & staff compliance with the Pharmacy Policies and Procedures.
- Work to set budgets for the store and implement strategies to achieve desired results. In Sales, Stock and GP
- Be fully trained in Point of Sale system
- Recruitment and induction of new team members
- Receive a high volume of goods into the Pharmacy
- Mark off and unpack pallets of stock daily
- Have a high level of business acumen
- Performance management and staff development
Qualifications and Knowledge Required:
- Certificate IV in Retail Management or Community Pharmacy
- Experience in Pharmacy or Large format retail
- Experience in Working as a Stock controller preferred
- Sound understanding of pharmacy operations
- High level computer skills
