REGISTERED NURSE - NEW GRADUATE PROGRAM



Employment type: Part-time (0.8 FTE = 4 days per week)

The role you are applying for here is:

  • New Graduate Nurse Program 2019 - Orthopaedic Stream



We offer Graduate Study Days, Orientation to departments, Individualised Learning Plans and have Educators and experience staff to assist you throughout your program.

Essential Criteria:

  • You must have completed within the past 12 months an undergraduate degree in nursing; or are due to complete the same prior to the start date of the Mater graduate program for 2019
  • Have no more than 6 months’ work experience as a Registered Nurse since graduation, if you completed graduation within the past 12 months
  • Meet all requirements and eligibility to apply for Nursing Registration with AHPRA
  • Provide all required documentation as requested
  • Provide documentation supporting Australian Residency status (i.e. proof of residency or citizenship - if applicable)
  • Overseas students must have documented proof of English Language skills to an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic Band 7 / or OET with score of B, or evidence of a booking for a test at the time of interview
  • VISA (if applicable)
  • Be able to undertake 11 months part time employment
  • Display effective interpersonal skills and be able to build rapport with a diverse range of people
  • Be able to accept professional accountability for own actions/practice
  • Be aware of own limitations and scope of practice
  • Have a strong ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and provide exceptional "Person Centred Care"
  • Demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development
