THE OPPORTUNITY
Better Rehabilitation is looking for an enthusiastic experienced Occupational Therapist to join our ever growing team in Sydney.
ABOUT US
Better Rehabilitation is a growing Allied Health practice that provides consultancy and in-home rehabilitation services for adult and paediatric clients, with a focus on neurological and adult disability conditions.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of your role, you will be expected to conduct home visits for NDIS participants across the Eastern Sydney and Inner West regions. This will involve completing home modification assessments, completing equipment prescription, designing rehabilitation plans to improve your participant’s life skills and advocating for improved quality of life. You will be provided with on the job training for the development of these skills.
You will also be working under an experienced Neurological Occupational Therapist and a team of Therapists, who are dedicated to encouraging you to be the best you can be. You will also have an experienced therapist who will providing face to face support on a fortnightly basis.
In line with this, we will provide you with experience as you progress in your career. This will be achieved by providing you with further training and giving you opportunities for specialisation across a range of areas.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for suitable applicant who wishes to work full-time. To be successful with us, you will be independent and dedicated to fitting in with our ethos.
Ideally, we are looking for enthusiastic candidates who are wanting to expand with our business. Experience with the NDIS and or a neurological field is desired, but not essential.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications (degree minimum)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an Occupational Therapy Role (Occ Rehab included)
- Current AHPRA registration
- Permanent Australian residency
- Advanced oral and written communication skills, and proficient computer skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently (under little instruction)
- Working with Children Check
- Current Drivers Licence and Car
