About the role:
Reporting to the Technical Services Coordinator, the primary responsibility of the Field Support Representative is to assist the Technical Service team during planned maintenance activities of Infusion Pumps across Australia and New Zealand. The Technical Services team conduct repair, testing and calibration of Infusion, Transfusion and Auto-Transfusion Medical Devices supplied to Public and Private Hospitals and a large part of this position is the on-site coordination of this work.

Extensive travel will be required predominately throughout the eastern states of Australia with travel to other states and New Zealand as required.

Key Accountabilities:

• Providing onsite assistance to the technical services team during planned maintenance visits. This includes but is not limited to liaising with Nursing Unit Managers to retrieve medical devices, coordinating the return of these devices, assisting the Engineers with decontamination and basic maintenance activities.
• Supporting service contractors with spare part issues and logistics requirements
• Provide administrative support to the engineering team with the creation of service reports in the IB database
• Assist in the coordination and support the provision of demonstration equipment and related documentation to nominated customers in a timely and cooperative manner.
• Ensure deliveries and collections are coordinated efficiently

What we are looking for:

• Strong communication skills, practical problem solving, mechanical aptitude and team work
• Experience in customer complaint handling and problem solving
• Previous experience within a customer support role would also be deemed suitable
• Team player
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel
