Hurstville Private Hospital is owned and operated by Healthe Care Australia, Australia's largest and fastest growing operator of private hospitals. Hurstville Private Hospital has 164 acute beds, with 7 Operating Theaters, ICU & CCU, Cardiac Cath Labs, Medical Unit, Surgical Unit and well respected and expanding Maternity Unit. Hurstville Maternity has been in operation for over 29 years, and is the go to Maternity Unit in the south of Sydney. We have a team of well regarded Obstetricians and Paediatricians, who together with our highly experienced Maternity team provide our patients with exceptional care. Our Maternity Unit was purposely built 3 ½ years ago and occupies the penthouse level of the hospital with sweeping views from Sydney city to the Blue Mountains. Our Special Care Nursery is introducing 12 hour shifts from August 2018.
About the role
Reporting directly to the Maternity Services Manager, an excellent opportunity exist for experienced and dynamic Midwives and Registered Nurses to join our highly regarded team and provide excellent clinical care to our patients and families Full time, part time and casual positions are available in our Special Care Nursery.

Essential Criteria
- Current APHRA registration as a Midwife and/or Nurse
- Clinical experience with the alibility to provide high standard of clinical care
- The ability to maintain a strong customer focus and team approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability and commitment to work as part of a dynamic flexible and strong team
Desirable Criteria
- Dual registration (Registered nurse and registered midwife)
- Over 4 years experience
