We are a 100% Australian owned Nursing Agency staffed by an enthusiastic and passionate group of people. We specialise in placing nurses in regional, rural & remote facilities throughout Australia. We work with all major private and public hospitals Australia wide.

Permanent Part-Time – 75 hours per fortnight


A well-established Aged Care Facility in Mackay is seeking an experienced Aged Care Registered Nurse to join their friendly team.
  
Responsibilities:

• Efficient coordination of patient care ensuring compliance with all legal/statutory requirements.
• Resident assessments, care plans and a working knowledge of ACFI
• Staff supervision
• All aspects of general nursing care including medication management, palliative care and wound care.

Essential Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrated, current background and experience as a ‘Registered Nurse’ in an Aged Care environment
• Expertise in delivering optimum aged care outcomes to residents which is compliant with nursing best practice
• Sound understanding of Mandatory reporting requirements
• ACFI knowledge
• Experience with Aged Care Management software
• Ability to lead a team to ensure excellent patient care delivery
• Experience with dementia patients, palliative care, wound care and pain management
• Current unrestricted AHPRA Registration
• Exceptional communication skills
• You must demonstrate at least two year's full time, paid employment as a ‘Registered Nurse’ in Australia.
• Current Federal Police Check
• Current Drivers Licence
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification essential
