Our client is looking to an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their team for a period of 3 months. They are a small hospital based in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.
This is a full-time temporary role. Working hours are Monday to Friday, and there may be some weekend work available.
This locum position starts at the end of June and will run until the end of August with possible extension.
About the role:
You will work within a highly skilled team of Physiotherapists, other OTs, EPs, a Speech Pathologist, Psychologist, Dietitian and Social Worker.
You will work mainly in inpatient care, however there will be some requirements to work in outpatients too (in particular at the start of the assignment).
Your caseload will include, but will not be limited to the following:
- Medical care
- Post-op rehab
- Post-medical event rehab
- Outpatient clients who have been referred by the hospital or by other hospitals
The hospital is fully resourced with a large gym, assessment rooms, and interview rooms.
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapists and FULL AHPRA registration
- Strong experience in inpatient rehabilitation and also experience working in outpatients
- Recent police check
- Availability from the end of June to start of October 2018
