Looking to make a positive difference in family’s lives and lead a dedicated team of vibrant maternal and child health nurses? We are seeking an experienced team leader to coordinate the delivery of the Yarra City Councils Maternal and Child Health service.
The Team Leader provides strategic leadership and oversees all aspects of maternal and child health operations. The focus is on service collaboration, integration and a team culture that promotes excellence and best practice. You will provide strong leadership to the maternal and child health team, supporting and promoting positive culture, driving innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
To be successful in this positon you will be highly experienced and qualified Maternal and Child Health Nurse, with extensive program and staff leadership experience. Your background includes developing inclusive strategies and policies to enhance outcomes and provide positive access for children and families, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, vulnerable families and those from culturally diverse backgrounds. You have advanced understanding of the principles of integrated and innovative practice, along with sound budgeting, communication and report writing skills.
