About the opportunity
Renowned for providing surgical orthopaedic plates and screws, the NSW trauma team reaches out to major hospitals across the state, supporting surgeons operate with a range of orthopaedic trauma cases both in and out of theatre. This role is based in hospitals in the Wollongong / Illawarra region.
Ideal Candidate:
Consider the needs of trauma patients. Communicate your clinical knowledge to advise surgical teams about available devices. Provide case coverage and in-services. Problem-solve for a diverse range of trauma injuries. Build trust in the device portfolio.
Duties
- Provide clinical support to nurses and surgeons in theatre settings as required, and ensure products are being used efficiently and effectively
- Develop strong relationships with KOLs, surgeons, nursing staff and allied customers
- Provide support to the sales team with highly technical data and product expertise
- Provide a leading service to customers including training, in-services, stock checks, timely deliveries and supporting hospital staff
- This role also involves flexible hours so that you or members of your team can cover unexpected surgeries.
Skills and Experience
- Previous clinical experience (for example: nursing, chiropractic, physiotherapy background)
- Knowledge of orthopaedic anatomy and physiology preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve complex problems
- Demonstrated ability to show initiative to achieve results
- Experience working within a range of teams
- Current drivers licence
