As a consultancy of choice, Sugarman Australia are currently working in parternship with several health service providers in the Perth metro area.
THE ROLE
Due to working in partnership with a new organisation, our Nursing team are rapidly growing and looking for applications from experienced, locum RN's & EN's as a result. We are seeking applications predominantly from those experienced in the Aged Care & Disabilities space for work in a community and/or facility setting.
As a casual RN or EN, you will be able to determine when you want to work and in which geographical area, therefore providing an extremely flexible work environment for you! This opportunity would suit those managing the conflicting demands of family life, study, other employment or those who are restricted by visa conditions.
Some of the shifts available provide an opportunity to work as part of a fast pace team, being supported by Aged/Disability Support Workers and other shifts available allow for flexibility and freedom of lone working. What ever suits you, we have the shift!
Some of the responsbilities will include;
- Provide professional nursing practice
- Ensure the safety of residents/clients and quality of care
- Undertake clinical, social and self-care assessments
- Assist in the coordination of direct care workload
- Support and mentor junior members of staff
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO APPLY
- Minimum of 12 months experience, post grad
- Full AHPRA registration
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
- Flexibility to respond effective to the changing needs of our client group
- The ability to work effectively and efficiently within a team and independently
- A high level of verbal and written communication skills
