About the company
Our client is a not-for-profit organisation providing support & services to help people impacted by drugs, alcohol as well as mental health concerns within regions of QLD & NSW.
About the opportunity
Providing overall day to day operational management across both services of a withdrawal unit & a residential rehabilitation programme.
You will be responsible for the review & continued development of the service to include day to day operational management, finance management & HR.
Leading a multi-disciplined team, you will be able to assess and identify client care needs in line with company & government framework. Having a clinical background with experience supporting clients with mental health or drug & alcohol concerns would be advantageous for this position.
Duties
- Day to day operational management of the services
- Finance/Budget management
- Assess & review client care needs
- Leadership & motivation of a multi-disciplined team
- Ensure a high level of care is maintained
- Ensure accreditation & compliance indicators are achieved
- Implementation & review of all policies
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor level tertiary qualification in a related discipline (psychology or social work)
- Experience with management of a residential service
- Experience supporting clients within the mental health sector
- Drug & Alcohol rehabilitation experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Change management experience
- Strong leadership skills
- HR management experience
- Finance/Budget management experience
