General Practice Plus is a highly successful Tasmanian owned business that’s growing; we are looking to add to our network of four practices that we currently operate in the Hobart area and are looking to bring great people into our welcoming team. As Operations Manager you will never be bored, with your diverse responsibilities including those related to business administration, team leadership, human resources, work health and safety, and management of business systems, assets and infrastructure. Given the varied nature of this role, this position is ideal for a jack of many trades who is passionate about providing critical services that underpin the success of an expanding business.

Your success in this position will be fuelled by your:

  • experience in leading a broad range of business operations, with exposure to the healthcare setting preferred   
  • innate ability to lead by example and motivate others
  • sound HR and people management skills, including your ability to recruit and develop teams and resolve people management issues
  • ability to contribute to high level business priorities and projects

  • proven ability to get things done and deliver results that shape the business for the better.

In this role your drive to actively contribute at both a strategic and operational level will be essential as you will be operating at both ends of the spectrum. Your willingness to contribute to everything from high level business projects through to resolving day-to-day operational matters and assisting when your team’s workload peaks will be recognised and appreciated.
