We are one of Victoria's most sought after endoscopy group with unique scoping technology and a highly skilled and experienced team of senior medical professionals looking after the gastroenterological needs of thousands of Victorians.
We are very excited to be expanding our team and are now looking for a highly skilled, mature and enthusiastic Director of Nursing who is ready to drive our business forward using well-developed business, customer service, human resources and operational skills.
The role and primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Managing the day to day operations of our centers, and ensuring that our company ethos and values are adhered to
- Determine annual goals for the practice in consultation with Principle/s
- Prepare budgets and plans and report accordingly on performance and outcomes
- Develop and implement improvement strategies for the practice
- Lead, motivate and develop non-clinical and clinical staff, with a mature and positive attitude, to ensure high performance at all times
- Ensuring that set endoscopy center KPI's are met each month
- Review and improve practice systems
- Liaison with practice accountant on taxation and other statutory requirements
- Book-keeping & accounts function including some aspects of payroll
- Knowledge of Medicare procedures and patient billing
- Solid knowledge and experience with Medical Accreditations
- Maintain computer hardware and software and schedule maintenance and upgrades including troubleshooting
- Rosters
- HR functions including recruitment, inductions, identifying training needs and running training sessions and facilitation of bi-yearly staff performance reviews
- Working with our established marketing team on field follow up, and patient and in-house experience improvements
- Weekly/monthly meetings
- Delivering outstanding service and care to all patients and owners.
- Supply orders and logistics
- Center policies and procedures at a standard for reaccreditation
In order to be successful you should have the following:
- Previous experience managing an endoscopy practice with a minimum of 3 years experience
- Dynamic, bubbly, helpful with warm demeanour
- Strong leadership skills
- Honest and trustworthy
- Exceptional organisational & time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Initiative and proven ability to multi-task
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid decision making ability
- Polished & professional in your approach
- Advanced in all Microsoft applications
- A working knowledge of the Genie medical system is advantageous
- Computer literate and troubleshooting abilities
- Knowledge of HR management practices and procedures would be highly regarded
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Own vehicle required
- Ability to run a tight ship and to be cost conscious in every aspect
