About the opportunity
An opening for an experienced and driven sales professional to join their market-leading Patient Support Systems division.
Based in Melbourne and calling on C-suite stakeholders and key clinicians across Victoria’s hospital and private clinical sectors, you will be responsible for identifying, managing and securing business opportunities. Furthermore, you will support customers through needs-based activities such as coordinating education programs, installation and application training, and marketing programs.
The ideal applicant will possess a proven track record in healthcare sales and be accustomed to managing their own territory and activity. Applying a strong and holistic key account management approach, you will display a great understanding of the capital equipment sales cycle, and possess a key drive to remaining highly visible across the market.
Working collaboratively and cross functionally, you will be supported by a proactive, enthusiastic and well-accomplished colleague and leader that will assist you in seeking new leads and building accounts as part of the Victorian team.
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated ability to sell high value capital equipment, within the healthcare industry, based on personal credibility and development of exceptional customer relationships, to consistently exceed sales targets
- Be tech savvy and present strong aptitude to absorb and impart technical and clinical information
- Proven track record in commercial negotiations with senior executives in customer organisations, ideal
- Innovative, creative and entrepreneurial mindset to find ways for more customers and patients to benefit from the company’s leading solutions
- Demonstrate strong record keeping skills
- Be flexible to travel as required to advance the large geographic territory, attend trade shows, meetings, etc.

You will be passionate about exceeding sales targets and possess a strong ability to absorb and impart technical information, as well as being very motivated, with a positive attitude in this highly autonomous yet collaborative role.
This role will also suit a professional who demonstrates an interest for positive patient and customers outcomes, and one who works with a high degree of integrity at all times. You will enjoy working in the field and remaining visible across the market, whilst driving through sales objectives and projects.
