Practice Manager to join new Medical Practice in Westmead / Parramatta
MedCity Medical and Allied Health Services is a brand new state of the art medical facility opening in November 2018 in the North-Western Sydney.

The Practice Manager will undertake all aspects of the day to day management of the practice including appointment book management, HR, financial reporting, accreditation, doctor liaison and ensuring the Practice is up to date with current regulations. The role will involve growing the Practice, leading and implementing change and working to achieve new goals and priorities of MedCity Health Services
Requirements
- Previous experience in a management and or high level practice administrative position
- Manage all day to day operations within the practice
- A detailed understanding of the Medicare Benefits Schedule
- Knowledge of Medicare, DVA and WorkCover billing, accounts and processes for private billing and make sure all billing is done correctly
- Previous experience in the use of Best Practice Software, Medical Director and Microsoft Programs.
- An understanding or experience in general practice accreditation and standards and assist with the Medical Centre accreditation
- Experience in financial management, accounting systems and reporting processes and assist with financial reporting
- Experience in payroll systems and legislated employment conditions
- Implement policy and procedures as required for the medical center
- Schedule and coordinate meetings for all levels of communication within the Medical & Allied Health Teams
- Define and drive the complaints resolution process for patient and client complaints and queries
- Managing the delivery of quality customer service to doctors, nurses and patients
- The practice manager will be required to work a standard 38 hours per week. However, from time to time the practice manager may be required to work reasonable additional hours, as necessary to fulfil the requirements of the position, or as requested by the employer. This may include working outside of business hours, during weekends and / or on public holidays.
