As a successful Clinical Lead you will be responsible for providing ethical, thorough and effective service for children and youth who are living with complex mental health issues. You are also responsible for managing crisis intervention, planning and general standards of all services as well as providing ongoing support/training to the staff to ensure the highest services are delivered.
Key responsibilities:
- Assess, review and implement changes to procedures/policies based on trends and needs for clinical and therapeutic assessment
- Manage, drive and mentor the team to ensure highest quality of service/support is offered through monitori
- ng planning, documentation and formal/informal training
- Engage with appropriate stakeholders to provide accurate and effective therapeutic support
- Adhere to relevant legislations, policies and procedures and conduct in ethical manner
Required relevant experience:
- Extensive experience in complex mental health - children and youth
- Proven clinical lead/supervisory experience
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislations across
- Ethical and effective clinical and therapeutic planning and assessment experience
- Crisis intervention and engagement with individuals with high risk mental health issues
To be considered for the role you must have:
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Psychology or similar
- Full registration to the relevant professional body such as AHPRA
- Extensive experience with family violence, crisis intervention and children/youth cognitive therapy
- Strong staff management and performance management experience
