Pinaroo Roma Inc. is a not-for-profit Aged Care Facility is situated in Roma, Queensland and is currently seeking Personal Carers to join our team. Initially this is a casual position, with the possibility of progression to permanent part time for the right applicants. We are a 60 bed facility.
Duties of this position include but are not limited to:
- Assisting the residents with their daily care needs including showering, dressing, toileting, and meals.
- Safe use of equipment to assist clients with limited mobility such as hoists and wheelchairs.
- Carry out all work in accordance with the resident care plans and as directed by the Registered Nurse.
- Accurately complete documentation in accordance with legislation and Pinaroo policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy of each resident and Pinaroo at all times in accordance to Pinaroo Guidelines.
To be successful in this role, the following criteria should be met:
- Current Certificate III in Aged Care would be advantageous, or the ability to obtain.
- Experience in Aged Care would be highly regarded but not essential
- Available to work flexible hours Monday - Sunday including morning, afternoon and night shifts.
- Be able to pass a police check.
- Proficient with the use of computers / laptops.
