We are looking for an ACFI Coordinator to join our South Australia team. As the ACFI Coordinator your responsibilities will include reviewing of all residents in a timely manner to ensure pain therapy interventions have been assessed, implemented and are appropriate to the individual residents' needs and conditions.  Contributing and leading the development of standardised processes and systems related to Allied Health Project and pain management. Audit of ACFI claims and systems for congruence, accuracy and claim maximisation. Providing mentoring and guidance on knowledge deficits identified. This position will require flexibility for regular travel between our facilities in South Australia.  

Your role

• Ensure documentation related to pain therapy is completed in a correct and accurate manner.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Allied Health Contractors.
• Monitor and evaluate success of each facilities pain clinic implementation and attendance.
• Audit and evaluate all ACFI assessments and submissions.
• Ensure claim congruency, accuracy, funding maximization and compliance with regulations.
• Provide mentoring and coaching with standardisation of ACFI processes and systems and identified ACFI knowledge deficits.
• Evaluate outcomes including downgrades, increases in funding and completion of relevant surveys or reports.
• Assume responsibility for the successful implementation in the designated region of all new and improved processes.
• Successful implementation of Allied Health processes in designated facilities.
• Professional and appropriate communications with all Regis and Government personnel.
• Attendance and positive contribution to discussions at weekly teleconference meetings.
• Identifiable improvements in ACFI systems and processes.
• Improvement in ACFI fund maximization.
• Improvement and maintenance of pain therapy interventions in designated facilities.
• Improvement and maintenance of attendance at pain clinics.
• Develop and maintain open and regular communications and relationships with Regis personnel and Government Officers.

About you

• Registered Nurse Division 1 (holding current State Registration Certificate) - desirable
• Tertiary qualifications in training and assessment - desirable
• Previous experience with data analysis
• Change management experience
• Proven knowledge or formal qualification in health care financials and expense management
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous quality care and the Regis Way as well as a positive attitude towards care of the aged.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
