About the service
The Norfolk Island Health and Aged Care Residential Service provides primary and acute care, residential aged care and community health services to Norfolk Island's 2,000 residents and visitors. The service operates from a combined small hospital/GP clinic setting within a multipurpose service model.

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing Board of Australia.
- Holds a relevant clinical or education post registration qualification or 3 years clinical experience in the field.
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and and the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others.
- Understanding of teaching and learning in the health care environment (adult learning principles)
- Demonstrated clinical teaching & facilitation skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of competency attainment and assessment
- Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems.
