Detail information about job Behavioural (ABA) Therapist. Terms and conditions vacancy

Autism Partnership is seeking to employ a number of dedicated individuals to join our Sydney team on a full-time basis.

Our brand new Sydney Little Learners centre provides early, intensive, behavioural intervention (EIBI) - the most effective and evidence-based educational approach for children with autism. All of our programs are based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). The role of an ABA therapist is pivotal to the success of these programs and we are excited to present you with the opportunity to be involved.

We have full-time vacancies for both experienced therapists and those wanting to start their career. Although not a necessary prerequisite, experience with early childhood & school-aged children is highly desirable.

Applicants should demonstrate:

  • an engaging and fun approach to interacting with young children
  • creative thinking with the ability to change styles based on individual student profiles
  • the ability to remain calm throughout challenging student behaviour
  • sensitivity to challenges faced by parents
  • an openness to feedback and a commitment to continuous improvement
  • a strong work ethic underpinned by punctuality, excellent organisational skills and professionalism.

Autism Partnership is proud to provide a family centred approach and deep commitment to quality and progressive evidence based practices. We offer families the opportunity to access the highest quality of service by providing our staff with initial and ongoing training, professional development, and clear career progression opportunities.

Interviews for successful candidates will commence immediately, with employment starting throughout July.

Employment is dependent upon the applicant obtaining a current Working with Children check and police check.
