Purpose of role:


Lead a team of 4 and mentor the Blackmores group regulatory function, whilst providing expert medical advice to the wider business. Ensure the provision of accurate and scientific medical information on company products in response to both internal and external queries, including safety assessments and advice.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide Group Regulatory Governance by implementing policies, standards and data systems
  • Lead a team of regulatory associates responsible for supporting Asian and export markets
  • Develop systems, processes and guidance to support Blackmore’s regional regulatory functions
  • Support the business by imparting expert medical feedback required for business communications and product assessments
  • Lead the Product Safety Group and provide advice on adverse events
  • Support customers, doctors and pharmacists by providing medical information in response to their queries
  • Keep up to date with medical literature relevant to complementary medicines

Who are you?


Medically qualified with considerable industry experience in the provision of drug/medical information. Skilled and knowledgeable in the fields of anatomy, pathology, biochemistry, pharmacology and clinical disease states. General regulatory affairs knowledge gained from working in a health care organisation with the ability to review and translate complex medical information.


You build strong professional relationships, analyse and interpret data, follow procedures and have a strong customer focus.
